Circadian rhythm
disruption
Circadian rhythm disruption has been linked to a variety of
diseases. The main disruptors of our circadian rhythm are light
and food. Night shift work and jet lag are also linked to
circadian rhythm disruption.
Light can confuse our biological clock with light from electronic
devices and illumination at night or not enough blue light during
the day.
Food at the wrong time can break the metabolic balance in our
bodies.
