THE RANGE
Since the first LEDs were invented in the early sixties, the technology has leapt forwards and LED
lamps now offer a comparable replacement to the original incandescent lamps. Our lamps have been
specially chosen to complement the products in our range.
At Interiors 1900 we offer several types of lamps for use in your chosen product. You can choose from
the latest in filament technology; they shine in the same way that incandescent lamps used to, making
them a perfect light source for products with crystal and open shades where the lamp is visible when lit.
Our decorative filament range are perfect for products that demand a statement; we have even reproduced
the soft colours of those original lamps and you can choose from two sizes of globe lamps or pear lamps.
Finally, our classic range of lamps have been specially selected for their bright, even light. These are ideal
for use where the lamps are not visible and are suitable for dimmable products, enabling you to set the
desired level of brightness.
LEDs are far more efficient when compared to incandescent, with energy and cost savings of around 80%.
In addition they last longer with an expected lifetime of around 15 times longer. They are environmentally
friendly as they do not contain mercury unlike fluorescent lamps, and when you turn on the switch you will
have instant light.
BRIGHTNESS
An important factor to consider when selecting a product or lamp is brightness. This is measured in
lumens which is the measure of the amount of light the lamps will give out. Our lamps have a range of
lumen outputs allowing you to choose the right lamp for the correct application.
