Once all the glass is in place, the shade is soldered again on the outside to add strength and create an attractive finish
The shade is then washed and dipped in a chemical bath to patinate the bright solder to a distinctive antique finish
Each shade starts out as an artist’s drawing giving life to stunning designs capturing the spirit of authentic Tiffany lighting
Glass is chosen for each design and carefully cut by hand by skilful artisans
Each piece is ground to remove sharp edges and copper foil is wrapped around each edge
