Più che la forma complessiva di questa collezione di
sedute ciò che rimane in mente è il suo profilo, la sua
figura, la sua sagoma, la sua ombra e la sua “silhouette”.
Inattesa, apparente antistatica, in equilibrio quasi precario
per quel suo mancare di un contatto fisico e materico
tra seduta e schienale, la silhouette di “Silhouette” è
inoltre doppia, ripetuta in due materiali diversi per la
scocca esterna ed interna, a scelta tra cuoio, legno o
laccato. Una sottolineatura, come un ribadire quello
snello profilo ove tecnologie ed eleganza si incontrano
in una leggerezza complessiva dell’insieme. Su base a
quattro razze in tubolare curvato o su una piantana a stelo
unico di acciaio, costruiscono una famiglia accostabile
a luoghi collettivi come bar, ristoranti, lounge, alberghi,
proponendo soluzioni di grande eleganza e modernità per
delle sedute quasi volanti, sospese.
More than the overall shape of this seating collection,
what remains in mind is its profile, its figure, its shape,
its shadow and its “silhouette”. Unexpected, apparently
antistatic, in an almost precarious balance due to the
lack of physical and material contact between seat and
backrest, the silhouette of “Silhouette” is moreover
double, repeated in two different materials for the
external and internal shell, a choice of saddle leather,
wood or lacquered. An underlining, a reiterate of that
slender profile where technologies and elegance meet in
an overall lightness of the whole. On four fixed spokes
in curved tubular or like on the steel stem of a floor
lamp, they build a family that can be combined with
collective places such as bars, restaurants, lounges,
hotels, proposing highly elegant and modern solutions
for almost flying, suspended seats.
