La poltrona Oyster Light, è un guscio sottile e sospeso
che si definisce attraverso gli stessi elementi che lo
costituiscono: materia e forma. Due fogli di cuoio
continuo, stirati, nervati, sapientemente lavorati
prendono le forme concava e convessa ed insieme, unite
a sandwich, rendono Oyster Light un guscio solido e
stabile. Sorprende la leggerissima compattezza generata
dalla tecnica e le caratteristiche proprie del materiale,
il cuoio, rendono Oyster Light tesa e cartilaginosa dalla
inaspettata flessibilità al tatto.
The Oyster Light armchair is a thin and suspended
shell that is defined through the same elements that
constitute it: matter and shape. Two sheets of continuous,
stretched, ribbed, expertly crafted saddle leather take
concave and convex shapes and together, combined as
a sandwich, make Oyster Light a solid and stable shell.
It surprises the very light compactness generated by the
technique and the characteristics of the material, saddle
leather, make Oyster Light taut and cartilaginous with
unexpected flexibility to the touch.
