La memoria del rigore, la ricchezza compassata, la
sapienza del dettaglio. Le visibili cinghie in cuoio
avvolgono la cornice metallica del basamento come
espressione di tenacità e sostengono i rigorosi cuscini di
seduta con riproposto e misurato senso di artigianalità
e passione per i dettagli: una nobile espressione
retrò. Il volume imbottito di Kristall risulta come
sospeso, sollevato dal pavimento, come separato dalla
gravità attraverso una linea riflettente e luminosa.
Posteriormente la barra metallica, un piatto in acciaio
cromato o verniciato, ribadisce con misurata esuberanza
l’estetica un po’ chic di Kristall, e consente l’appoggio
dei cuscini di schienale per un piacevole comfort in cui
sprofondare.
A sense of rigour, unsurpassed richness, and attention to
detail. The leather straps wrapped around the steel frame
of the base convey a sturdy impression as they provide
support to the strong-lined yet generous cushions; at the
same time, the seating area appears to have levitated,
lifted gently off from the floor below, as if the luminous
line of the frame could somehow counteract the effects
of mundane gravity. At the rear of the sofa, a chromed
or painted horizontal steel plate both contributes to the
chic visual styling and allows for the subtle positioning
of the back cushions to create a wonderfully comfortable
seating arrangement.
