design: people today expect to connect no matter where they
happen to be. The reveal that forms the integrated shelf is an
aesthetic detail that also holds items that might be needed but
don’t need to be front and center. Easy access to under-table power
encourages people to dock cell phones or laptop batteries on the
shelf, leaving the primary surface available for the task at hand.
