Originally opening as ‘The Station Hotel’, The Principal York has a rich
history dating back to 1878.
The venue features a range of bespoke lighting designed and
developed by Heathfield & Co including table, wall and floor lamps
throughout guest rooms and suites, meeting rooms, bars and other
interiors. A series of dramatic ceiling pendants illuminate the pathway
to the hotel’s decadent ‘Lobby Lounge’. The pendants incorporate
absolute precision in both craftsmanship and design utilising elegantly
curved glass and rich metal detailing.
