Designer Portrait
Established in 2005 by two graduates of the
Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts' School
of Architecture, Signe Bindslev Henriksen
(born 1973) and Peter Bundgaard Rützou
(born 1966), Space Copenhagen is a design
studio working across multiple disciplines.
Driven by curiosity, the studio’s ambition
is to forge new paths by balancing opposites
classic and modern, industrial and organic,
sculptural and minimal. Their work is
characterized by dualities and contrasts,
the result of a thoroughgoing exploration of
concept and a meticulous attention to detail.
