What gave you strength to continue with your life project?
DANIEL TORREGROSSA
I couldn’t have done it without my Brother's inclusion to the company
and my wife’s support. Starting a solo journey is what’s meant to happen
when your ideas do not fit within society, but it comes to a point where
you can’t keep up by yourself, and you carry too much on your shoulders.
The arrival of my brother did not only relieve that weight, but also helped
the company's business network to grow and expand to where it is today.

What was your next step?
DANIEL TORREGROSSA
We soon understood we had to continue our journey creating, learning
and innovating. This is when we created both 803 María and 133 Hélice
lever handles. The María handle is more of a rustic style adapted for the
Spanish market which has also gained success and is nowadays still the
protagonist of several projects. The 133 Hélice handle is more of an ergonomic
model presenting a modern and advanced curvature - which has also attained
significant projects.

What was the first model you designed?
Was it successful?
DANIEL TORREGROSSA
As a kid I was always very creative and enjoyed my free time doing paintings
and drawing. I never designed a product as such before, but being aware of
my artistic capacity I was confident in taking the risk to design something
innovative for that time. This is how the model 117 Log.gic was created.
This handle presents an ingenuous style with straight lines but with subtly
rounded profiles.
I presented this model in Spanish factories where it was declined since
minimalism and contemporary design wasn’t a thing at all - Spain was
more into the rustic style. This rejection gave me strength to pursue my
idea, it proved that' I truly had a different perspective, which I believed
was a positive attribute. After a lot of investigation and a lot of work I
managed to finally manufacture in Italy. Nowadays, 25 years later, the 117
Log.gic handle is still among our top 3 best-sellers gaining international
recognition. This is the model that broke the barriers of time.
