Nasce nel 1975 a Volterra (PI), segue il
percorso accademico presso la facoltà
di Architettura in Firenze, dal 2001
svolge la propria attività professionale
all’interno
di
importanti
brand
di
arredamento.
Nel
2014
fonda
il
proprio
studio
“Lottagono” scegliendo come sede il
borgo Toscano di Pomarance, dove
svolge l’attività professionale nell’ambito
del design industriale, del management
e della consulenza artistica.
Nel
2015
idea
e
crea
la
“Fidanzi
Roberto” dove è impegnato nel design
e nella produzione di oggetti d’arredo
per
illuminazione.
Nel
2016
inizia
l’importante collaborazione con Grilli,
dove oltre a svolgere attività di designer,
è attivo nel ruolo di product manager.
Was born in Volterra (PI) in 1975. His
academic path took him to the Faculty of
Architecture in Florence. Since 2001 he
has provided his professional services
to major furnishing brands.
In 2014 he set up his own studio,
“Lottagono”, choosing the Tuscan village
of Pomarance for his base, where he
carries out professional activities in the
fields of industrial design, management
and artistic consulting.
In 2015 he designed and created “Fidanzi
Roberto” where he works on lighting
design and production.
In 2016 he began an important working
relationship with Grilli, where in addition
to designer activities he also acts as
product manager.
Da sempre attenta alla tutela e gestione
dell’immagine, la Grilli si avvale di un
proprio ufficio stile, composto da un
Team di professionisti che analizza
le varie esigenze, valuta e sceglie le
soluzioni più idonee.
Il Team di lavoro è la forza portante
dell’ufficio stile, ne fa parte la proprietà,
il management commerciale, artistico e
produttivo.
La simbiosi tra i professionisti è alla
base di ogni scelta progettuale, grafica,
artistica o decorativa che sia, senza
eccessi ma ponderatamente efficace.

Ha studiato presso l’Istituto Superiore per
le Industrie Artistiche (I.S.I.A.) di Firenze,
negli stessi anni ha collaborato con lo
studio dell’architetto Renzo Falciani.
Alla fine degli anni ‘60 entra a far parte
dello studio Nizzoli Associati di Milano,
dove lavora con Alessandro Mendini e G.
Mario Oliveri. Nel 1970 a Firenze dà vita
allo studio Interno Tredici Associato con
Gianni Ferrara e Nilo Gioacchini, insieme
ai quali realizza il “Tuttuno” esposto
al MoMA di New York in occasione
della mostra “Italy: The New Domestic
Landscape” (1972). Nel 1985 fonda la “Carlo
Bimbi Design” e avvia collaborazioni con
le migliori aziende nel settore del mobile
compresa Grilli. Contemporaneamente è
docente presso l’Istituto d’Arte, l’I.S.I.A. e
il Corso di Laurea in Disegno Industriale
di Firenze.
He studied at the Istituto Superiore per le
Industrie Artistiche (I.S.I.A.) in Florence and
in the same period collaborated with the

Nizzoli Associati in Milan where he works

MoMA in New York as part of the “Italy:

Design” and began collaborating with the

for the Industrial Design degree course in

per importanti marchi nel settore del
mobile cogliendo inoltre, tra le varie
collaborazioni,
quelle
con
Michele
Provinciali e Marc Sadler. Ha lavorato in
Italia, Emirati Arabi, Grecia, Regno Unito,
Giappone,
raggiungendo
consensi
internazionali e gratificazioni pubblicate
su riviste quali Interni, Ottagono, Brava
Casa. Dal 2005 al 2016, per la Mec Retail
Design è stato product manager, nel
2017 ha iniziato una collaborazione con
Laser Design come designer e product
manager del nuovo format negozi Tim.
Dal 1987 collabora attivamente con Grilli.
