PAC is among the very first
examples in Italy of architecture
designed to host contemporary
art. Conceived as a versatile
exhibition structure with fluid,
wall-less spaces, which was
considered highly innovative
at the time, it also introduced
other original features such as
the continuity between the natural
and the artificial, and between
art and nature.
Il PAC è tra i primi esempi in Italia di architettura progettata
per l’arte contemporanea e pensata come un’agile struttura
espositiva, con spazi fluidi privi di pareti divisorie, un’innovazione
per l’epoca, come originale è la continuità tra il naturale
e l’artificiale, tra artee natura, grazie alla vetrata che
si affaccia sui giardini di Villa Reale.
