I tessuti della collezione Open-air di Giorgetti sono performanti e di forte impatto
visivo, oltre a soddisfare i più rigorosi standard di qualità per gli esterni. Sono
idrorepellenti e resistenti ai raggi UV con un grado particolarmente alto di solidità
alla luce (dai 6 ai 7 gradi su una scala di 8). Questi tessuti resistono alla scoloritura
dovuta al sole e a tutti gli agenti atmosferici in generale, oltre ad essere antimuffa,
permettendone quindi l’utilizzo anche in ambienti ad alta umidità.
Tutte le strutture dei prodotti della collezione Open-air sono trattate con vernice
protettiva ad alta resistenza ai raggi UV e agli agenti atmosferici, garantendo
così leggerezza e robustezza allo stesso tempo.
Le imbottiture sono tutte adatte ad utilizzo in ambienti esterni, grazie al
poliuretano espanso ad alta resilienza (elasticità) e fibra idrorepellente.
I legni e i marmi sono materiali naturali che risaltano nelle loro tipiche venature
originali, a volte anche non uniformi. Le imperfezioni della materia prima non
devono essere considerate un difetto, bensì un pregio.
Tutti i prodotti della collezione Open-air sono stati studiati per la collocazione in
ambienti esterni. E’ tuttavia buona norma proteggere questi arredi con le fodere
di protezione Giorgetti, realizzate in tessuto completamente idrorepellente. Le
housse sono dotate di coulisse che consente di stringere la fodera intorno alla
base degli elementi ed evitare che volino via, e sono leggermente sollevate
rispetto al suolo per aumentare il ricircolo dell’aria.
Per lavare le housse utilizzare un panno morbido con acqua calda e, se necessario,
un detergente delicato. Al termine del lavaggio risciacquare con acqua pulita.
Prima di coprire i mobili e i cuscini con le fodere, accertarsi che siano
perfettamente asciutti, per evitare accumulo di umidità o la formazione di
macchie di muffa.
Nonostante l’impiego di materiali e lavorazioni accuratamente scelti per le
loro proprietà e prestazioni in ambienti esterni, si ricorda che l’azione di agenti
atmosferici può modificare sensibilmente lo stato originale degli arredi.
The fabrics of the Giorgetti Open-air collection are high-performing and with
a strong visual impact. They meet the strictest quality standards for outdoor.
These fabrics are water-repellent and resistant to UV rays, with a high degree
of light resistance (from 6 to 7 degrees on a scale of 8). They resist to sun
bleaching and to all atmospheric agents. In addition to this, they are mould
resistant, so that they can be used also in high moisture environments.
All the frames of the products of Open-air collection are treated with protective
paint, resistant to UV rays and to atmospheric agents, thus guaranteeing
lightness and resistance at the same time.
The paddings are suitable for outdoor use, thanks to the expanded polyurethane
of high resilience (elasticity) and water-repellent fibre.
Woods and marbles are natural materials that stand out in their original veining,
sometimes even not uniform. The imperfections of the raw material should not
be considered a defect, but rather a quality of the material.
All the products of the Open-air collection have been studied for outdoor
use. It is however good practice to protect these furnishings with the Giorgetti
protective slipcovers, made with water-repellent fabric. The covers are
equipped with a drawstring that makes it possible to secure the cover around
the base of the furniture piece, preventing it from flying away. In order to
increase the circulation of air and avoid the formation of condensation, the
covers are not made to floor length.
To clean the covers use a soft cloth and warm water and, if necessary, use a
gentle upholstery cleaner. Rinse with clear water.
Furniture and cushions should be thoroughly dry before using the covers, to
avoid moisture build-up or the growth of mould.
Although the materials and processing methods have been carefully chosen
for their characteristics and performance in outdoor environments, weather
conditions can significantly alter the original state of the furniture.
