With its unique mix of elegant classic
and contemporary architecture, the
Quadrilatero is an area of Milan
that particularly appeals to me.
When I visited these four seemingly
diverse buildings, I sensed a
common thread, i.e. a sense of
history that is interwoven with the
way the city has evolved.
Regardless of the differences
in period and style, there is a certain
continuity that expresses a Milan
that remains faithful to its essence,
even as the city itself continues to
change.
Il quadrilatero è una zona di Milano che mi affascina
particolarmente per il suo mix unico di eleganti architetture
classiche e contemporanee. Visitando i quattro edifici,
ho percepito un filo conduttore che unisce questi spazi così
eterogenei: un senso di permanenza e di storia che si intreccia
con l’evoluzione della città.
Nonostante le differenze di epoca e stile, c’è una continuità
che parla della Milano che cambia ma che rimane.
