2 TEXTURE AND SURFACES: A MATERIAL LANDSCAPE
Each element of the collection is
shaped to evoke changing and
vibrant surfaces, dense forms, like
the iridescent bodies of the scarabei.
We experimented with raw and
faceted textures to convey a sense
of organic growth, where every angle
seems sculpted by the hand of time
and nature.
Beginning with a two-dimensional
rendering on paper and physical
materials like sketches and ink, we
moved through the study of forms
and their morphology, creating
masses with aluminum scale
modeling, always working between
physical material and digital three-
dimensional transformation.
