2. What does “knowing when and how to let go” means for you?
For us, it means listening to our idea, to the creative drive that leads us
towards a certain direction, but at the same time listening and embracing
the material itself and the movements throughout the process to get there.
Sometimes we feel a moment of balance, as if suspended in time and space.
A sort of “effortless action”.
Our research starts with a very specific idea, but slowly turns into
an unexpected journey of trials, errors, and experimentation. At an
unspecified point on this journey, we perceive the moment where to stop
and embrace the latent expression of the material itself. In the creation of
our “Drawing A Line” lighting sculptures, this process was crucial.

3. How do the elements of experimentation, temporality, and memories
combine into your creations with glass and light?
Experimentation, temporality, and memory share a common thread:
immateriality, much like the ethereal essence of light itself. To venture into
the realm of experimentation is to embrace the unanticipated, to traverse
the delicate balance of time, oscillating between the echoes of the past and
the aspirations of the future, oscillating between tradition and innovation.
These experiments are like peering into the abyss, surrendering to its raw
potential whilst simultaneously anchoring oneself in the vibrant pulse of
the “here and now”.
All of these intangible notions, these elusive concepts, crystallize and
coalesce into the tangible form becoming a vessel or medium through
which emotions and gestures can resonate through material and time.
