yacht and private jet designers who rely on
his specialized knowledge to realize made-to-
measure commissions.
In 2015, Giorgio Bagnara expanded his leather
goods portfolio with the acquisition of saddle leather
specialist RABITTI1969.

French designer Stéphane Parmentier, who was
appointed creative director of GIOBAGNARA
and its affliate brands.
In 2018, the company’s portfolio grew with the
strategic acquisition of PIGMENT FRANCE, a
respected company with specialized skills in leather
covering and the weaving of wicker, rattan and

In 2022, GIOBAGNARA acquired the Italian
luxury lifestyle brand RIVIERE. The know-how
of this brand is unique of its kind, and elevates
the universal characteristics of beauty and
quality. With this acquisition RIVIERE enriches
GIOBAGNARA's offer and strengthens the
Group's international leadership in the sector.
Today, GIOBAGNARA proudly counts more than
150 direct employees.
The brand now boasts an impressive offer of
quality leather homewares and is ready to embark
on its next exciting chapter.
GIORGIO BAGNARA,
FOUNDER AND CEO
OF GIOBAGNARA
Born into a family renowned for cultivating the Art
of Fine Living for three generations, Giorgio Bagnara
became passionate about his calling at a very early age.
At the end of the 1990s, after noticing that leather
utilized in the fashion industry was not considered
a suitable material for home accessories, he founded
GIOBAGNARA with the goal of applying leather
to a homewares collection. Along with his wife,
Vanessa, he frst moved his design studios and
workshops in the old docks of the Port of Genoa and,
later, in a renowned historical building near Genoa's
Marina where, surrounded by the essence and beauty
of that location, the company took a signifcant step
forward.
THE DYNAMICS OF A DUO
A real laboratory for ideas, Giorgio Bagnara coordinates
production in the Manufactura’s workshops.
He carries out projects and handles private orders,
working at the very core of production and enriching his
repertory of forms each day, being involved in all stages of
creation.
His wife Vanessa harmonizes the collections, cultivating
elegance and contributing her chic feminine vision
to the creation of trendy accessories.
Together, with natural complicity and meticulous care,
they plan and select what will become the collections
of tomorrow. They combine expertise and intuition
to be fully attentive to their clients’ needs.
