L’ECOTeak utilizzato per la collezione
proviene dal riutilizzo di travi ed
elementi in teak recuperati dalla
demolizione delle tradizionali case in
legno dell’isola di Giava, Indonesia.
La finitura finale prevede la lucidatura
a mano con panni di canapa e trucioli.
L’ECOTeak utilisé dans cette collection
provient de poutres et d’éléments en
teck récupérés lors de la démolition
des maisons traditionnelles en bois
de l’île indonésienne de Java. L’étape
finale prévoit un cirage à la main à l’aide
de tissus en chanvre et de copeaux.
The ECOTeak used in the collection is
obtained from old teak beams and el-
ements recovered from the demolition
of traditional wooden homes on the
Island of Java, in Indonesia. The final
finish is obtained by hand polishing
with hemp cloths and shavings.
Das ECO Teak, das für die Kollektion
eingesetzt wird, geht auf wiederver-
wendete Balken und Elemente aus
Teakholz zurück, die aus den abgeris-
senen traditionellen Holzhäusern der
indonesischen Insel Java gewonnen
werden. Das abschließende Finish
basiert auf einer von Hand aus-
geführten Politur mit Hanftüchern und
Spänen.

L’intreccio della collezione è realizzato
a mano con corda in poliestere
rivestita con fibre acriliche. La corda
in poliestere è oggi la più utilizzata nel
settore nautico grazie alle qualità di
resistenza all’acqua e alla luce solare
diretta. Pur essendo flessibile e facile
da intrecciare, è un materiale resiliente
alla deformazione e anche bagnato non
perde resistenza allo sforzo ripetuto. La
speciale caratteristica di non assorbire
l’acqua garantisce anche la rapida
asciugatura della corda.
Le tressage de cette collection est
réalisé à la main à l’aide d’une corde
technique en polyester et fibres et
fibres acryliques. La corde en poly-
ester est actuellement la plus utilisée
dans le domaine nautique du fait de sa
résistance à l’eau et à la lumière directe
du soleil. Tout en étant flexible et facile
à tresser, il s’agit d’un matériau résilient
qui, même mouillé, continue de résister
aux sollicitations répétées. Sa capacité
à ne pas absorber l’eau permet égale-
ment à la corde de sécher rapidement.
The weave used in the collection is
purely hand-made using a technical
rope in polyester. Polyester rope is
today the most commonly used type
of rope in the nautical sector thanks
to its excellent resistance to water and
direct sunlight. Despite being flexible
and easy to weave, this material is very
resilient to deformation and maintains
its resistance to repeated stress even
when wet. The fact that it doesn’t
absorb water also means the rope dries
very quickly.
Das Flechtwerk der Kollektion wird von
Hand mit technischem Seil aus Polyes-
ter und Acryl hergestellt. Polyesterseil
ist heute das meistverwendete Seil im
nautischen Sektor, da es sowohl was-
serfest wie UV-beständig ist. Obwohl
flexibel und leicht zu flechten, ist dieses
Material sehr formbeständig und bleibt
auch in nassem Zustand stabil. Da es
kein Wasser aufnimmt, trocknet das
Seil besonders schnell.

Oltre che espressivo ed ecologico,
l’alluminio è un metallo unico per
qualità tecniche. Tre volte più leggero
dell’acciaio, é stabile nel tempo,
resistente agli agenti atmosferici e di
facile manutenzione.
