Ample Outdoor Chair and the Ample Bistrot Table, designed as versatile outdoor counterparts
to effortlessly harmonize indoor and outdoor settings.
Originally conceived for indoor use, the Ample Outdoor Chair now offers a versatile outdoor
version, expanding its utility while maintaining the iconic design language of Gebrüder Thonet
Vienna GmbH (GTV). Inspired by the esteemed brand’s rich heritage and commitment to time-
less craftsmanship, Nichetto Studio embarked on a journey to reimagine classic concepts with
a contemporary twist.
Central to the design process was the exploration of Gebrüder Thonet Vienna’s iconic pieces,
seeking untapped avenues for innovation. Embracing the challenge of marrying tradition with
novelty, Nichetto Studio introduced a ground-breaking approach by applying the steam bent
process, traditionally used with wood, to metal. This innovative technique allowed the Studio to
push boundaries and achieve unprecedented results.
The result is the birth of the Ample Outdoor Chair and the
Ample Bistrot Table, distinguished by their sinuous sil-
houettes, generous proportions, and unmatched comfort.
Whether gracing residential spaces or commercial settings,
Ample embodies the essence of craftsmanship, tradition,
