Armando Di Nunzio is an Italian artist and a sculptor from
Lettomanoppello. This place in the Abruzzo region is also
named the City of White Stone and is renowned for its long
tradition of stone carving. Growing up here and as a child
of artisan parents, Armando was destined to become a
master sculptor himself. He manually selects stone for his
art pieces at the quarries in his hometown, his favourite
being white Maiella stone. With utmost care and eye for
detail, the sculptor shapes these blocks into sculptures of
timeless elegance, channelling the mystical energy of the
Maiella mountains.
