GANDIA BLASCO GROUP
BEING MORE SUSTAINABLE IS
A JOURNEY, NOT A DESTINATION
When you think you have reached your goal, you realize that you
could still do more, as new perspectives, more thoughtful positions,
better solutions, materials and processes continually emerge. At
Gandia Blasco Group we have already started the journey: all the
brands in the group are applying measures to be more sustainable.
On the one hand, we are promoting the use of durable,
recyclable and sustainable materials, such as aluminum or
teak wood, which has the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and
V-Legal (Indonesian Legal Wood) certifications. On the other, we
are incorporating PET fabrics and fibers, both in upholstery and
in our textile products, which come from post-consumer plastic
packaging.
Likewise, we continue to promote production processes that
generate minimal waste, and we create products that are easily
recyclable after their useful life, two issues over which we have
greater control thanks to our semi-industrial or entirely artisan
manufacturing, as is the case with GAN.
