DUNNE BY NAO TAMURA
The new DUNNE collection by GANDIABLASCO is a design by Nao Tamura inspired by the soft
curves and texture of the dunes. They are 100% recyclable aluminum pieces that are assem-
bled to form volumes perceived as sculptural while integrating harmoniously, discreetly and
continuously into spaces.
“DUNNE is inspired by the organic forms modeled by nature: the soft cur-
ves of the dunes, the rhythmic patterns left by the waves and the cons-
tantly changing boundary between the sea and the shore. I wanted to
capture that sense of movement and softness, translating it into furnitu-
re that felt sculptural but welcoming.” explains the designer.
DUNNE manages to integrate multiple contrasts in a masterful way: the softness of its geome-
try with the roughness of its elegant texture.
“For me, beauty comes from the perfect integration of form and function.
DUNNE balances organic flow with precise engineering, ensuring that
every detail has a purpose.” summarizes the designer.
La nueva colección DUNNE de GANDIABLASCO es un diseño
de Nao Tamura inspirado en las suaves curvas y la textura de
las dunas. Piezas de aluminio 100 % reciclable que se ensam-
blan para formar volúmenes percibidos como escultóricos al
mismo tiempo que se integran con armonía, discreción y con-
tinuidad en los espacios.
“DUNNE se inspira en las formas orgánicas mo-
deladas por la naturaleza: las suaves curvas
de las dunas, los patrones rítmicos dejados por
las olas y el límite en constante cambio entre
el mar y la orilla. Quería capturar esa sensa-
ción de movimiento y suavidad, traduciéndola
a unos muebles que se sintieran escultóricos
pero acogedores”, explica la diseñadora.
DUNNE consigue integrar múltiples contrastes: la suavidad
de su geometría con la rugosidad de su elegante textura.
“Para mí, la belleza proviene de la integración
perfecta de forma y función. DUNNE equilibra
el flujo orgánico con la ingeniería precisa, ase-
gurando que cada detalle tenga un propósito”,
resume la diseñadora.
