FELT
Cardando lana, aplicándole vapor
y prensándola se obtiene fieltro, un
material compacto que no surge de
un proceso de tejido y que, según
nuestra propia experiencia, ofrece
inagotables posibilidades de diseño
pues se deja cortar y troquelar, coser
o bordar encima, trenzar y moldear.
Por eso lo consideramos un indispen-
sable del diseño contemporáneo.
By teasing, steaming and pressing
wool, you get felt, a compact materi-
al that doesn’t come from a weaving
process and that, in our experience,
offers inexhaustible design possibil-
ities as it can be cut and stamped,
stitched or embroidered, braided
and moulded. That’s why we re-
gard it as an indispensable part of
contemporary design.
