A dot
The dot is much more than just a dot. It is a
beacon. A subtle light that intuitively links the
knob to the cooking zone in operation. Not only
is it a guide to where to place cookware, its
variation in intensity, colour, and state lets the
user know if the module is on, if there is residual
heat, or if the surface protector is missing. When
not in use, it automatically turns off, returning
the surface to a space of preparation, serving,
eating and a stage for socialising.
The 12 mm ultra-compact Dekton worktop is
available in a myriad of unique immersive colours
and finishes, all scratch and heat resistant.
Out of sight, two sizes of high-performance
induction modules can be combined to offer
an uncompromising cooking experience. Our
standard 21 cm module accommodates pots and
pans between 10 and 21 cm in diameter, while
our large 28 cm module is tailored for cookware
between 15 and 28 cm in diameter.
The 400 series front-mounted control knobs are what make
the Essential Induction undeniably and uniquely Gaggenau.
Whether placed centred on the front of the worktop or aligned
with the cooking zones, their high precision allows for direct,
fast, and intuitive selection of the 12 power levels, keep warm
function, and boost. They are available in stainless steel or
black, to either seamlessly complement or boldly contrast the
chosen design finish.
A knob
a surface
To guarantee optimal performance, the
induction modules are activated through our
enhanced surface protectors that magnetically
connect to the cookware. More than a key to
the product, they help protect the worktop
from scratches and dampen sounds for a more
enjoyable cooking experience.
