PORTLAND

Le due gambe del tavolo PORTLAND sembrano
arrivare da un’altra dimensione. Due elementi di
sostegno importanti con un taglio asimmetrico, che
sembrano evocare energie secolari di trasformazioni
e continuo movimento. Pur nella loro immediata
solidità, sono due monoliti che lasciano sia lo sguardo
a suggerirne la rotazione, ma anziché fluttuare
nello spazio sono una solida base d’appoggio per
mille superfici. PORTLAND è un omaggio alla forza
del dinamismo, un tavolo che più allunga il piano
e meglio può esprimere quell’idea di universo in
espansione.
The two legs of the PORTLAND table seem to come
from another dimension. Two elements of important
support with an asymmetrical cut, which seem to
evoke centuries-old energies of transformations and
continuous
movement.
Despite
their
immediate
solidity, they are two monoliths that let the gaze
suggest its rotation, but instead of floating in space,
they are a solid support base for a thousand surfaces.
PORTLAND is a tribute to the strength of dynamism, a
table that the more the top stretches the better it can
express that idea of an expanding universe.
