Con le sue morbide pieghe
e drappeggi che evocano la
leggerezza di un abito, Pli nasce da
una gestualità che sembra quella
di una sarta. Un sottile foglio di
pregiata carta italiana è attraversato
da un tubo centrale che è struttura
e fonte luminosa. La leggerezza
del disegno e del materiale si
sposano con una luce soffusa e non
abbagliante, diretta verso il basso e
verso l'alto, che la rendono perfetta
per illuminare un tavolo.
With its soft folds and draping
suggesting the lightness of a dress,
Pli stems from a gestural approach,
similar to that of a seamstress.
A thin sheet of fine Italian paper is
crossed by a central tube that is
the structure and the light source.
