In Italia focused its core business in the
production of upholstered furniture.
It quickly developed from a small
artisanal structure to being an
international leading company in the
world of furniture for both residential
and contract.
Consistent with the changing needs of
competitiveness and sustainability, Former
In Italia has managed to evolve from a
family business to an industrial reality,
combining its craftsmanship and tailoring
tradition with manufacturing production
processes, maintaining the link with its
territory and the all-Italian know-how,
but doing it well, on an industrial scale,
thus expressing its strong identity linked
to textiles and operating according to the
criteria of the short supply chain.
The second generation is now leading
the company adding even more
enthusiasm, technologies and new
skills, founding two more businesses
as spin-off of Former In Italia, one is
for woodworking.
Former In Italia Group is a group of
companies whose core business is
the production of furniture for the
luxury industry: HO.RE.CA., residential,
yachts, ship cruises.
Artisanal know how with an industrial
approach, care for details, high-end
materials. All of this perfectly mixed
up with innovative technologies and
driven by highly expertised skills.
Nata nei primi anni 70 dall’idea
imprenditoriale di Urbano e Francesco
Rombaldoni, Former In Italia, azienda
di produzione di imbottiti, sviluppa
rapidamente la propria dimensione
artigianale diventando una realtà di
riferimento nel panorama industriale
internazionale.
Coerente con le mutate esigenze di
competitività e sostenibilità, Former In
Italia ha saputo evolversi da azienda
familiare a realtà industriale, coniugando
la sua tradizione artigianale e sartoriale
con processi produttivi manifatturieri,
mantenendo inalterato il legame con il

scala industriale, esprimendo così la sua
forte identità legata al tessile ed operando
secondo i criteri della filiera breve.
L’ingresso della nuova generazione ha
mantenuto il taglio imprenditoriale familiare
di impresa apportando nuove conoscenze,
tecnologie ed entusiasmo, fondando come
spin off aziendale altre due unità produttive,
una delle quali rivolta alla lavorazione del
legno.

forte espansione il cui core business è la
produzione di arredi per il residenziale,
l’hospitality e la nautica nel segmento del
lusso.
