Tuneable White
In response to the gradual shifts in colour temperature of natural light throughout
the course of a day and a season, the advanced LED light engines incorporated into
MOTOLUX luminaires offer the added feature of different spectrums of Tuneable White.
LED light engines
MOTOLUX offers its fixtures with different spectrums of white colour temperature
tuning. The pre-selected CCT from any of the ranges will remain constant even
during dimming, due to the advanced built-in LaserDim driver included as standard in
MOTOLUX.
Mimicking the richness, depth, coolness and warmth of natural daylight requires a
science that formulates the precise variations of each of the 5 colours in the white
LED. Achieving this manipulation of the artificial light’s white colour temperature
enables the designer or specifier to smoothly integrate the light in its environment and
communicate the desired light scene pursuant to season and time of day in order to
optimize visual comfort and emotional response.
