Direttiva Europea ErP-Eco Design
Negli ultimi anni l’Unione Europea ha spinto
verso soluzioni più sostenibili e più efficienti dal
punto di vista energetico, compiendo il grande
passo verso un’illuminazione rispettosa del
clima e più efficiente. Scopo dell’UE è
promuovere l’economia circolare e fornire ai
consumatori informazioni chiare, trasparenti
e standardizzate. La nuova direttiva Europea
per l’illuminazione “ErP-EcoDesign” è volta a
incentivare l’utilizzo di sorgenti luminose ad alta
efficienza, quindi più performanti e con minori
consumi.
La direttiva introduce una nuova classificazione
energetica, che andrà da “classe A” (la più
efficiente) a “classe G” (meno efficiente).
La normativa prevede inoltre la registrazione di
tutti gli apparecchi di illuminazione all’interno di
un portale dedicato (EPREL), con la possibilità
per il consumatore di ottenere le informazioni
inerenti il prodotto tramite un codice QR.

Over the last years the EU has been pushing
the switch to more sustainable and more
energy-efficient solutions.
The EU has taken the major step towards
efficient and climate-friendly lighting. Its aim is
to promote the circular economy and provide
clear, transparent and standardized information
for consumers. The new European Directive
for lighting “ErP-EcoDesign” aims at encoura-
ging the use of high efficiency light sources,
therefore more performing and with lower
consumption.
The Directive introduces a new energy classi-
fication, which will go from “class A” (the most
efficient) down to “class G” (least efficient).
The new legislation requires the registration
within a dedicated portal (EPREL) for each
lighting device, with the possibility for the
consumer of obtaining product information via
a QR-code.

In den letzten Jahren hat die EU den Umstieg
auf nachhaltigere und energieeffizientere
Lösungen vorangetrieben. Die EU hat den
großen Schritt in Richtung effizienter und
klimafreundlicher Beleuchtung getan. Ihr Ziel ist
es, die Kreislaufwirtschaft zu fördern und den
Verbrauchern klare, transparente und standar-
disierte Informationen bereitzustellen.
Das neue europäische Beleuchtungsgesetz
„ErP-EcoDesign“ zielt darauf ab, den Einsatz
von hocheffizienten (leistungsstärkeren und
verbrauchsärmeren) Lichtquellen zu fördern.
Die Norm führt eine neue Energieklassifizierung
ein, die von „Klasse A“ (am effizientesten) bis
hin zu „Klasse G“ (am wenigsten effizient)
reicht. Die Gesetzgebung verlangt die Regi-
strierung in einem speziellen Portal (EPREL) für
jedes Beleuchtungsgerät mit der Möglichkeit,
Produktinformationen über einen QR-Code zu
erhalten.
