Nel progetto di Tavolo con Ruote il piano di legno del carrello
industriale viene sostituito con una spessa lastra in vetro
molato -simbolo della storia produttiva dell’azienda – a cui
vengono fissate le rotelle industriali a movimento libero. E’
così che la sostituzione di un semplice elemento trasforma la
natura dell’oggetto e la sua destinazione d’uso.
This wheeled table replaces the factory trolley’s wooden
shelf with a chunky sheet of beveled glass – a tribute to the
company’s production history – and fits free-rolling industrial
wheels. The nature of the object and its intended use are
transformed by replacing just one simple part.
