Model 548 has certain features of great interest in the history of light design: the directionable projector that directs the light towards a reflecting screen, the supporting bar, the balance between different weights. But it is the large head that makes it stand out: use of opaline methacrylate gives a sophisticated light diffusion effect.
In FLOS' re-issue, it has a LED source and optical switch with dimmer.
