Un sistema di DMX può includere un numero illimitato di apparecchi, a
condizione che le seguenti regole siano rispettate:
• Usare cavi adatti per DMX bus: cavi DMX con impedenza costante 110
Ohm (Cod.186). L’uso di cavi diversi non garantisce le stesse prestazioni.
• Ogni 400 mt il segnale DMX bus deve essere rigenerato con uno Splitter.
Questo permette di estendere l’installazione.
• Ogni 20 apparecchi il segnale bus DMX ha bisogno di essere rigenerato
con una Splitter. Questo permette di estendere l’installazione.
• Tutti gli apparecchi devono essere collegati in serie al bus DMX (Nessun
collegamento a stella). Si deve tenere conto che l’uso di uno splitter può
risolvere il problema di avere un ingresso bus e più uscite bus.
• Ogni cavo deve avere una resistenza di terminazione di 120 Ohm.
A DMX system can include an unlimited number of fixtures on condition
that the following rules are respected:
• Use suitable cables for DMX bus: shielded twisted pair with 110
Ohm constant impedance (e.g. Cod.186). The use of different
cables doesn’t assure the same performance.
• Every 400mt of cable the DMX bus signal needs to be regenerated
with a Splitter. This allows to extend the installation.
• Every 20 fixtures the DMX bus signal needs to be regenerated with a
Splitter. This allows to extend the installation.
• All fixtures have to be connected in series to the DMX bus. No star
connection allowed. It has to be taken into account that the use of
a splitter can solve the problem having one bus input and more bus
output.
• Each cable must have a 120 Ohm termination resistor.
