1988. Il mio coinquilino aveva una sedia
così accogliente che, una volta sedutomi, ne
ho subito voluta una uguale. Ho comprato la
mia Fiesta a Bad Segeberg, in Germania.
1988. My roommate had such a cozy chair
that once I sat down, I knew I needed one
as well. I bought my Fiesta in Bad Segeberg,
Germany.
1991 Mi ha consolato quando la mia ragaz-
za mi ha lasciato e ho scelto di diventare
missionario in Africa.
1991 I sat in my Fiesta when my first girl-
friend dumped me and when I made the deci-
sion to become a missionary in Africa.
1996 Ho presentato Fiesta a mia moglie, che
ha buon gusto e ne voleva una per sè.
1996 I introduced Fiesta to my wife, who has
good taste and wanted one for herself.
1998 È diventata la mia “thinking chair”, lì
ho scritto la maggior parte dei miei saggi.
1998 I wrote most of my essays in my chair.
At that point it became “My Thinking Chair”.
2000 La Fiesta era con noi nel Regno Unito
e ha visto allattare, coccolare e crescere i
nostri 3 figli.

2008 We went all back in Africa, but soon
we will live in the U.S. and Fiesta will follow
us: I can leave anything behind, but not My
Chair.
