Zen is a recessed modular lighting system for indoor use and installed in false ceilings in plasterboard. It consists of an aluminium modular box, available in several sizes, and a lighting block (14x14cm), which holds all the electrical parts.
The lamp can be powered in many different ways: on mains voltage for fluorescent bulbs (standard, dimmerable or emergency lights, complete with a polymethyl-methacrylate diffuser) and for metal halide bulbs; or on a very low voltage (12V) for halogen bulbs. If these lamps are grouped together in a modular layout, they can be installed and used with a fluorescent lighting system.
