“The prime challenge to use
light, except illumination,
of course, was to create the
specific atmosphere inside
the theatre. Luminaires have
become one of the most
distinctive interior design
features of the theatre.
Consultants of Fabbian helped
us very much to achieve the
satisfaction of customers
and visitors.
The harmony of light and form
of Fabbian luminaries add value
to the theatre interiors as
a unique artistic touch.”

“Throughout the design process Fabbian provided invaluable advice on light
sources, illumination levels and fabrication to realize the design intent.
The installation of the lights required close coordination between Fabbian
and the fabricator of the ceiling panels through which the individual lights
were threaded. This integration was seamless and profoundly satisfying.
Beyond the public spaces Fabbian provided design solutions that created
wonderful rooms for the world-class artists to rehearse prior to each
performance. Each of the large practice rooms are illuminated by a series
of glowing spheres that provide ambient light and create architecture
of harmonious scale.
The lighting design of the building has been recognized through The Edwin
F. Guth Memorial Award for Interior Lighting Design awarded by the
Illuminating Engineering Society in 2014.”
