What would a city park be
without benches here and there
to sit and enjoy nature? We
experience fewer visual stimuli,
we escape the noise and bustle
of the city. The well-placed
resting points along the paths,
however, also serve an important
social function: they are meeting
spots where people deliberately
choose to spend time.
