designed home, the Bistroo in
Pistache creates an inviting
retreat—a perfect spot to
bask in the sun and lose
yourself in a good book.
With views over the Japanese
mountains of Shizuoka, this
traditional arts and crafts
school placed some Bistroos
in the courtyard to take
a peaceful break. Seated
shoulder to shoulder, the pupils
see the world passing by from
the same point of view.
