Soft music and dim lights invite lounging around in the armchairs
and sofas of the Nido collection by Javier Pastor, flecked with
yellow cushions as the only dissonant colour note, or in the Out_
Line hand-woven chairs designed by Nieves Contreras. The high
stools lined up in front of the bar also belong to this collection.
Above them, an arbour of metal slats projects a dreamy striped
pattern over the furniture and suggests untangling an intricate
game of perspectives.
At one end of the rooftop, slightly apart and with a certain
tone of intimacy, there is a space bounded by gigantic tubs
planted with trees. There we find again some Nido armchairs as
well as the aluminium versions of Copa and Radial collections
by Studio expormim, finished in black and wearing seat pads.
Inspired by classic pieces, but with a full contemporary look,
these chairs match the designers’ original intention of creating
a refined and modern atmosphere. Set in pairs around small
round tables, they work as a romantic hook for those who wish
to enjoy the terrace bar in couple.
La música suave y la iluminación tenue invitan a arrellanarse en los
sillones y sofás de la colección Nido, de Javier Pastor, salpicados
con cojines amarillos como única nota disonante de color, así
como en las sillas tejidas Out_Line, que firma Nieves Contreras.
Los taburetes, ordenados en hilera frente a la barra, pertenecen
también a dicha colección. Sobre ellos, se despliega una pérgola
de listones metálicos que proyecta un ensoñador diseño de rayas
sobre el mobiliario e invita a desenmarañar un intrincado juego
de perspectivas.
En uno de los extremos de la azotea, ligeramente apartado
y con un tono más íntimo, hay una parcela delimitada por
gigantescos macetones con árboles. Allí hallamos nuevamente
algunos sillones Nido, así como las versiones en aluminio de las
colecciones Copa y Radial, de Studio expormim, acabadas en
negro y con cojines en el asiento. De inspiración clasicista, pero
diseño contemporáneo, estas sillas encajan a la perfección con
el propósito de los diseñadores: crear un ambiente distinguido y
actual. Su disposición, de dos en dos, en torno a pequeñas mesitas
redondas, es un anzuelo romántico para los que disfrutan de la
terraza en pareja.
