One of the icons of this so-called “chic agritourism” is Ca Na Xica,
a boutique hotel located a few kilometres away from the village
of Sant Miquel de Balansat, in the north-east end of the island.
Surrounded by a rural landscape, packed with thousand-year-
old olive trees contorting themselves like mannerist sculptures,
Ca Na Xica is haven where elegance, minimalist design and the
unmistakeable Ibiza style converge.
It is an oasis inviting to get away with no remorse, perfect to
switch off and reboot both the body and the mind in holiday
mode, as if time just stopped and remained encapsulated in an
endless summer. Here the most basic pleasures blend in with
the most contemporary hedonism, local gastronomy becomes
fused with the best of international cuisine, and luxury penetrates
without disruption into the ancient nature of the scenery.
The hotel was opened in 2009 with just 6 bedrooms. The
renovation and expansion works were completed by the beginning
of 2015 with fourteen premier suites, a restaurant, a spa and a
lounge bar. Its owners applied a new varnish to the establishment
always respecting the patina the implacable trickling of the years
has laid upon it. And if we add to it the magical beauty of Ibiza,
whose influence captures hundreds of thousands of tourists every
season then it becomes more than clear why Ca Na Xica seems
irresistible.

Na Xica, un hotel boutique situado a escasos kilómetros de la
población de Sant Miquel de Balansat, en el extremo nordeste
de la isla. Rodeado por un paisaje agreste, plagado de olivos
milenarios que se retuercen sobre sí mismos como esculturas
manieristas, Ca Na Xica es un remanso de paz en el cual confluyen
la elegancia, el estilo ibicenco y el diseño minimalista.
Un oasis que invita al abandono sin remordimientos, idóneo
para desconectar y reiniciar el cuerpo y la mente en modo
vacaciones. Como si el tiempo se detuviera y quedara encapsulado
en un verano sin fin. Aquí los placeres más básicos se conjugan
con el hedonismo más contemporáneo, la gastronomía autóctona
se fusiona con lo mejor de la cocina internacional, el lujo penetra
sin disrupciones en la naturaleza antigua del paraje.
El hotel se inauguró en 2009 con sólo 6 habitaciones. A
principios de 2015, se completaba su actualización y ampliación
con catorce premier suites, un restaurante, un spa y un lounge bar.
Sus propietarios han sabido aplicar al establecimiento un nuevo
barniz respetuoso con la pátina que el implacable goteo de los
años había ido depositando en él. Si a ello sumamos la belleza
mágica de Ibiza, cuyo influjo atrapa cada temporada a cientos
de miles de turistas, es más que evidente el porqué Ca Na Xica
resulta irresistible.
