The renowned Spanish catering group Sagardi was in charge of
the gastronomical offer in the pavilion. There were two spaces:
El Altillo restaurant and Ses Salines tapas bar. Both of them were
furnished with some of Expormim’s outdoor collections, such as
the Nido hand-woven armchairs, designed by Javier Pastor, and
Plump modular sofa, by Studio expormim, located at the first of
the above-mentioned restaurants.
For the tapas bar, however, a different outdoor collection
was selected: the highly resistant Out_Line hand-woven chairs,
a creation by Valencian designer Nieves Contreras. These were
combined with the ambient light of the Meridiano outdoor
lamps, by Vibia, undoubtedly, one of the most important Spanish
lighting companies nowadays. It was an ephemeral construction.
Nonetheless, it welcomed more than 2 million visitors. What
better showcase can you get?
Las propuestas gastronómicas del pabellón corrían a cargo del
conocido grupo hostelero Sagardi que dispuso, para ello, dos
espacios: el restaurante El Altillo y el bar de tapas Ses Salines. Para
el amueblamiento de ambos se utilizaron piezas de Expormim,
como los sillones tejidos de la colección de exterior Nido, que
firma Javier Pastor, y el sofá modular Plump, de Studio expormim,
ubicados en el primero de los ambientes.
Para el bar de tapas, en cambio, se eligieron las sillas tejidas
Out_Line, también de exterior y altamente resistentes, una
creación de la diseñadora valenciana Nieves Contreras. Estas se
combinaron con la luz ambiental de las lámparas para exterior
Meridiano, de Vibia, sin duda, una de las empresas de iluminación
españolas más importantes. Un pabellón efímero por el cual
pasaron más de dos millones de visitantes. El mejor de los
escaparates.
