L’auditorium è stato accuratamente disegnato con attenzione verso l’acustica, le
linee di visibilità e il comfort degli spettatori, per regalare agli artisti e al pubblico
una esperienza senza precedenti, rispettosa della statura internazionale dell’Or-
chestra, Opera e Balletto Mariinski. Questo progetto ha richiesto una seduta su
misura - sviluppata in base alle richieste dei designer e caratterizzata da un’ottima
prestazione fonoassorbente - dalla quale è poi stata sviluppata la serie Demetra.

The auditorium has been carefully designed with respect to acoustics, sight lines
and audience comfort to provide both artists and audiences alike with an un-
paralleled experience to compliment the international stature of the Mariinsky
Opera, Ballet and Orchestra. This project requested a custom made chair - pro-
duced following designer’s will and characterized by an optimal acoustic perfor-
mance - from which the Demetra series has been developed.
