EXECUTIVE & COMMON AREA
L’ufficio direzionale è stato storicamente considerato come il luogo gerarchicamente
più alto di un’azienda. Uno spazio impenetrabile ed esclusivo, destinato alla
governance ed istituito per ospitare gli incontri e le decisioni più importanti; una
zona riservata alla presidenza, alla direzione generale, ai consigli di amministrazione
e via via fino ai capi ufficio. Oggi anche questi luoghi e queste funzioni divengono
più smart, leggeri e vicini alle dinamiche operative: le sale riunione vengono ora
predisposte per trasformarsi rapidamente in posti di lavoro condiviso, per poter
così accogliere chi non ha una scrivania assegnata. In questo processo evolutivo
i grandi tavoli offrono connettività ed elettrificazione e vengono integrati con
le necessarie interfacce tecnologiche (schermi, sistemi di prenotazione…). Ogni
partecipante ad un meeting o ad una sessione di lavoro individuale viene messo
nella condizione di disporre delle medesime informazioni e delle stesse facilities.

The executive office, until recently, was considered the top-level location within
a company. This area was seen as an impenetrable and exclusive zone, dedicated
to governance and set up to host the most important meetings and decisions
of the company: a restricted area of any corporate building, reserved for the
chairman and companies’ leaders.
Nowadays, these areas and functions have become smarter, more informal and
closer to the operational dynamics: the meeting rooms are now set-up to quickly
turn into shared work spaces, in order to create further accommodation for
employees without an assigned desk. As a result to this evolutionary process also
the traditional executive and meeting tables allow an easy access to connection
and electrification and are frequently equipped with technological devices (such
as screens, booking systems, streaming media players, etc.). Thanks to these
innovations any person who takes part in a meeting or works individually can easily
access informations, battery recharge or to additional tools. As well ergonomics,
sit&stand and lounge areas are now part of the executive spaces, creating a more
flexible and user-friendly space.
