EMU’s dedication to the environment involves the entire life cycle of the product, from the use of 100%
recyclable and incombustible materials like steel and aluminum, to waste minimisation and recycling.
The environmental compatibility of the entire EMU range is also guaranteed by its commitment
to constantly reducing the use of plastic in packaging, which is increasingly small and made up of
recyclable cardboard.
All the materials used for the production pass through a strict selection process certificated teak;
powder paints free from VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) for more even coating, resulting in
less product waste. EMU-Tex, a phthalate-free technical fabric for outdoor, used for deckchairs and
sunbeds. HPL, used for some tabletops, completely non-toxic and made of 70% renewable sources.
