Una luce, un bagliore. La sicurezza di ciò che era e che ci
accompagna nel presente per portarci oltre.
Questa famiglia di mobili raccoglie, con la sua forma
morbida e rassicurante, ma non scontata, tutta la
delicatezza di un tempo, reinterpretandola però con un
sapore attuale che ben si inserisce in diversi contesti di
living e dining.
Il gioco che si crea tra il piano superiore e quello inferiore
reinterpreta, in una chiave differente, il tradizionale
concetto
di
contenimento.
Kamai
infatti
non
è
caratterizzato da un volume monolitico, ma da un gioco
di superfici che racchiude e custodisce i nostri oggetti.
La morbidezza di questi elementi gioca con un contrasto
formale rispetto alla parte interna, sempre precisa e
rigorosa, ma racchiusa, anche sui verticali da forme
gentili che riprendono quelle del top e della base.
Kamai sfrutta questo suo dualismo enfatizzandolo
attraverso cambi di finiture o attenuandolo attraverso
l’utilizzo di un unico materiale, in modo da potersi vestire
al meglio per ogni tipo di esigenza estetica del cliente.
A memory sound. For many it recalls a memory. A light, a
glare. The certainty of what was and what accompanies
us in the present to take us beyond.
This storage unit family gathers, with its soft and
reassuring shape, but not obvious, all the refinement of
the past, reinterpreting it in a contemporary flavor, that
perfectly integrates in different living and dining contexts.
The game, created between the upper and lower top,
reinterprets in a different key the traditional concept of
storage unit. Kamai, indeed, doesn’t feature a monolithic
volume, but a game of surfaces, that encloses and
shields our objects.
The softness of these elements plays with a formal
contrast compared to the inner part, always precise and
rigorous, but enclosed, even on the vertical sides, in gentle
shapes, that recall the ones of the top and the base.
Kamai uses this dualism, emphasizing it through the
change of finishes or attenuating it through the use of a
single material, in order to be able to dress at the best for
every type of client’s aesthetic need.
