DO has a majestic and austere structure. RE is elegant
and balanced. MI appears to be light and immaterial.
These three elements combined together form a wall-
mounted three-lamp system, made of multilayer bent
wood. Each of them comes from the apparently simple
gesture that needs to be done to bend a sheet of wood.
But as a matter of fact, the perfect execution comes from
the great craftsmanship and the extreme care of every
detail. The wood sheet is held, almost under tension,
by a ring, placed at different heights compared to the
cylindrical body. Distinguished by its decisive graphic
sign, floating in space, created through the combination
of different modules, in the same way as a musical score
can be created by the combination of different music
notes.
DO ha un corpo maestoso e austero. RE è equilibrato ed
elegante. MI si presenta leggero e immateriale.
Insieme formano un trittico di lampade a sospensione
in legno multistrato curvato. Ognuno di loro nasce
dall’apparente semplicità del gesto che sottende alla
curvatura di un foglio di legno.
In realtà, la sua perfetta realizzazione è frutto della
sapiente maestria nell’esercizio di questa tecnica e nel
rispetto per l’estrema cura del dettaglio.
Il foglio di legno è trattenuto, quasi in tensione, da un
anello posizionato ad altezze differenti rispetto al corpo
cilindrico. Un deciso segno grafico che libra nello spazio,
componibile proprio come note in uno spartito musicale.
