KNX Secure multifunction PIR presence sensor
This sensor uses passive infrared (PIR) technology to detect normal and small movements and is equipped with
an adjustable lens for optimal coverage. It incorporates sensors for measuring ambient brightness, temperature
and air humidity, allowing integrated and precise control of systems. It offers up to four output channels and
supports both automatic and semi-automatic modes. It is also compatible with the KNX Data Secure security
protocol, ensuring secure communication within the home automation system.
KNX Secure multifunction real presence sensor
This sensor uses 24 GHz microwave technology to detect the actual presence of individuals in rooms, proving
highly sensitive even to micro-movements. It is particularly suitable for environments such as hotel rooms, offices
and other spaces where people tend to remain sedentary. Similar to the PIR model, it integrates brightness,
temperature and humidity sensors, offering up to four output channels and supporting both automatic and semi-
automatic modes. This device also complies with the KNX Data Secure protocol, ensuring secure communication
within the system.
Both sensors are designed for ceiling or false ceiling mounting and can be installed in master/slave mode to
extend the detection area. Accessories such as wall mounting brackets are also available for greater installation
flexibility.

Description
The Ekinex KNX Secure multifunctional movement sensor can detect not only the
movement of individuals but also brightness, air humidity and room temperature.
Up to 4 channels are available for lighting (with constant brightness control) and
temperature control functions.
Despite its compact size, the sensor has a wide detection range and the functions
within it make it suitable for any use, from residential to commercial.
