We present the project of Meg Hotel in Riccione (Italy), a lifestyle hotel recently renovated by cdnstudio of Eleonora Denicolò Architect that hosts a type of clientele with sophisticated and refined tastes.
The architectural design is based on the overlapping of different layers that create constantly new stimuli and emotions. The design is different according to the various spaces and the emotions transmitted to the visitor are always diverse.
The exterior façade covered with a stone effect material, has a more solid appearance compared to the structure of the indoor definitively more flexible concept oriented.
The lighting - provided by our narrow-beam Zeppelin 316L AISI steel spotlights - highlights spaces through a play of lights and shadows.
The rest of the outer lighting comes from the inside, giving the entrance the appearance of a backdrop filled with a playful, attractive and fashion seat.
Once inside the hall, the tones soften: we find a rusty iron look that recalls the outdoors, as well as the wood and the composition of greenery.
The perceived sensation is of comfort and cosiness, feelings conveyed also by the diffuse lighting, entrusted to our Lancia Tonda sospensione lamps.
The bar and bistro area, illuminated by our playful Newton pendant and ceiling lights, has warm and welcoming tones that encourage conviviality and social interaction.
In the restaurant, grey is the predominant colour giving the space a more sophisticated and formal atmosphere.
The lighting is provided by custom Mork pendant lamps, whose structure was specifically designed for this project.
