pieces of furniture of the last century. Fuelled by his
lifelong enthusiasm for fresh ideas and new ventures,
we have brought these iconic designs back to life under
the label, Eero Aarnio Originals.
At the heart of Eero Aarnio Originals is Eero himself.
Not just his designs but his family, his home, his life.
Through our brand we are able to recreate these stories
in a new universe while remaining true to the philosophy
of the man himself. We are not just making furniture:
we are sharing the stories behind the designs, issuing
an invitation to discover Eero’s world.
Eero has become well known for pioneering the use of
plastic and fiberglass in furniture design, and his iconic
creations have led to a multitude of imitations. But we
are determined to reconnect the designs with their
founder, an endlessly innovative, imaginative creator
and craftsman.
Eero Aarnio’s pieces are each characters in their own
right, with their own life stories and personalities. They
have been designed from a place of love and optimism;
