Se devo dare una definizione, dico che Standway è il
divano. Io ho sempre lavorato sull’archetipo. Standway
è l’essenza dell’immagine del divano. È un ideale. Non
serve raccontarlo. Ogni spiegazione è di troppo. Vince
solo se piace. E piace perché è un bellissimo divano. Io
lavoro da sempre sulla bellezza, che resta uno dei misteri
più difficili da svelare. Per questo ogni volta cerco un
linguaggio diverso per conquistarla.

If I had to give a definition I would say Standway is the
sofa. I have always worked with archetypes. Standway is
the essence of the image of a sofa. It is an ideal. There is
no need to discuss it. Any explanation is superfluous. It
wins you over if it pleases. And it pleases because it’s a
beautiful sofa. I have always worked with beauty, and it is
still one of the most difficult mysteries to reveal.
That’s why each time I look for a different language to
capture it with.
