Pino per uso interno, teak anche per
esterno. In entrambi i casi, i listelli
vengono inchiodati a mano in un as-
setto casuale che rende ogni poltrona
diversa dall’altra.
Without any internal frame, Favela is
made with many strips of natural wood,
similar to those used to build the shacks
of the favelas in Brazil. Pine for indoor
use, teak also for outdoor. In both cases,
the strips are nailed one over the other
by hand, in a random arrangement that
makes every chair different from the
next.
Sans structure interne, construite
avec de nombreuses bandes de bois
naturel semblables à celles avec
lesquelles, au Brésil, sont construites
les baraques des favelas. Pin pour
un usage intérieur, teck également
pour l’extérieur. Dans les deux cas,
les bandes sont clouées à la main de
manière aléatoire, ce qui rend chaque
fauteuil différent de l’autre.

einer Vielzahl an naturbelassenen Holzlei-
sten, ähnlich derer, mit denen in Brasi-
lien die Baracken der Favelas gebaut
werden. Pinienholz für Indoor, Teak auch
für den Outdoorbereich. In beiden Fällen
werden die Leisten von Hand in zufälliger
Anordnung miteinander vernagelt, was
jeden Sessel zu einem Unikat macht.
